The Ochsner Portrait

The oil portrait that I painted of Alton Ochsner is hung in the clinic lobby next to the payment office. He was one of a long line of doctors dating back to Paracelsus. He was instrumental in informing the public of the dangers of cigarette smoke.
I painted a study from a videotape and finished the formal portrait in the studio from photos and the study.
