12x16 oil plein air.
This part of Arches National Park was quiet and pleasant. It was a fair hike with my hiking pack of materials but I made the trip several times. I did a large studio piece of the scene. As the afternoon deepened I turned the easel 180 degrees west and did an oil of the double arches. Both of the studio pieces are gone now. Just around the large formation I saw what I considered the spirit of the park. It is the piece I call 'Prakriti'.
