After leaving Taos in 2000, I moved into an old brick farmhouse in my hometown in East Texas. I wanted to understand some of the experiences I had  while meditating in Taos. I went online and discovered groups of people who described themselves as 'Non-dualists'. I had been involved in Raja Yoga for many years and never heard of non-dualism. It turned out they were the people I could discuss my experiences with. I embraced the semi-hermit lifestyle on the farm. 

Each day was an opportunity to continue a discussion on line with friends and go outside to a lot things I wanted to paint. 

Much of what I wanted to do was create color studies at different times of day.
