This is the first live model in a new studio. I had spent two years upgrading my studio with a model stand and lighting. She was on the road and had stopped in New Orleans to make some money. I was shy about asking her but I thought the sixty dollars for modelling would help her and I was willing to be rejected. She agreed and I painted her twice more and then she was gone. God speed sweet nude model.
The Impressionist colors make the painting more appealing I think.
